Behavior Modification
*Extracurricular group classes are available up to three times a month (enrollment needs prior approval).
First we have to complete an in-depth behavior assessment of your dog during the consultation. After the assessment, we will make required recommendations for moving forward with your dog’s training plan.
It’s important to note that certain behaviors can occur due to a variety of underlying reasons. We may recommend a visit to your veterinarian to rule out possible health concerns.
We want all dogs to be safe and healthy. We require up-to-date vaccination records prior to using any of our services.
This program is for committed pet parents that want to change the way their dog feels and reacts towards the things in their environment.
This curriculum is designed for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Our training curriculum follows a fear-free commitment focused on compassionate training methods. One of our biggest goals with any dog is to build a positive relationship with learning; that way whenever they are ready to progress they can do so with ease.
Behavior modification is helping dogs be the best version of themselves.
Behavior modification involves changing your dog’s behaviors by addressing the underlying causes for them. Biological needs that haven’t been met commonly manifest as reactivity, anxiety, or aggression. This can be a challenge for many dogs that haven’t had the chance to learn an appropriate way to express these feelings. We must identify the driving emotions behind why your dog responds to their triggers in order to implement a training plan to help your dog.
Our goal with this program is to help you learn to communicate with your dog in a way that allows their needs to be heard. Obedience is great, but it’s not the solution to complex behavioral problems; emotion is what drives behavior.
